 ‘All Risks’ cover

We offer All Risks cover, including fire, water ingress, natural disasters, burglary, simple theft and robbery, as well as breakage, damage and vandalism.

‘Agreed value’

Our nail to nail insurance offers seamless cover for your art during removal and packing through to unpacking and installation, including transportation and any incidental storage.

New acquisitions and increase in value

We cover your art on an Agreed Value basis, giving you comfort in the event of a total loss.

Protecting your Collection

We can offer advice on secure ways to display your collection, as well as on matters relating to conservation and restoration, such as optimal lighting and ideal air humidity and temperature. We can assist you with any questions regarding storage, packing and shipping conditions.

Efficient service in the event of a loss

If a loss occurs, we can arrange professional restoration by competent and qualified restorers in all media. We will cover the costs of the restoration and any diminution in value.

Art Loss Register (ALR)

UNIQA subscribes to the ALR, the world’s largest database of lost or stolen artworks, and specialists in the recovery of art. By working with the ALR, we can maximise the potential for recovering an artwork, and offering it back to you.

Defective title

Defective title insurance covers the amount you paid to purchase an insured item which you are subsequently required by law to relinquish possession of.

Endangered property

We will cover reasonable and necessary costs you might incur in removing your Collection if it is in imminent danger.
 
Removal of debris

We will cover any costs you might incur in the removal of any part of your Collection after it has been damaged or destroyed.

Replacement costs

After a claim has been paid for a lost or destroyed item, we know that the additional costs of finding an appropriate substitute can be high. Therefore, we offer replacement costs cover to help you rebuild your Collection.

Emergency travel

If a loss occurs, we provide cover for any reasonable and necessary costs incurred in connection with an unplanned journey to the location where the event took place.

Replacement of fixtures, fittings, locks or keys

We will cover the cost of the repair or replacement of fixtures, fittings, locks or keys that have been damaged as a result of a burglary at your home. We will also cover the replacement of external locks, if you lose your keys.
